Educational background: Graduated from Waseda University, Department of Literature, majoring in European Philosophy

I learned Chinese calligraphy under Fujisawa Joshuu (藤沢絮秋) and Gado Okamoto (岡本雅堂). The pen name for calligraphy is 絮虹 (Joko). Especially, the calligraphies written by Kawahigashi Hekigotou stimulated me a lot. I also learned short poem under Shigeo Ueda, a religious scholar, poet, and researcher on Yaichi Aizu (会津八一), then also learned short poem under Raikuu (来空). The pen name for poem is 桂久爾 (Katsura Kuni). Currently, I concentrate on pursuing new forms of expression in calligraphy.

My principle: Be always fresh! — I am particular about the freshness.
